Valerie's Reflection.

Working with the chubby bunnies is really a nice and new experience. We laughed and worked hard together, enjoying the process not only when brainstorming but also filming. I am really glad to have them as my group mates. Although the project is a little rushed, but I still enjoy the times with them. Being a photographer is very fun and interesting as I can take videos from many angles and seeing how my group mates act. They tend to have many funny and laughing moments, making the entire filming process fun and not tiring at all. They are always cheerful and never fail to lift the mood up! Through this project, I learnt many things from them and the story we brainstormed was something that I could never think of on my own. The importance of teamwork and cooperating with each other is very important in a group and I think that all of us have done our part to keep this group a successful and fun one :)

Guatshin's reflection.

Personally, I feel that we had done a good job. Although it is a little rush, everything was well planned. The content is relatable to some of the teenagers. We even noticed small details. Of course, there is room for improvement. We should have plan our time properly and not do last minute work. We have clearly portrayed the kind of image that we want or the kind of situations that one may face. Another thing I would like to comment about is that all the group members have done their own parts and even offered to help others. Teamwork is important. I would like to work with the same group again. 

Reina's Reflection ^^

When we first started out, we were still not very sure of what to do but with the help of our teacher, we managed to put together a complete video. During planning, all of us had many different ideas on what to do in our video and luckily we manged to find a scenario that satisfied all of us. It was a very tedious process when we were filming for the video. We had to do many retakes especially during the first part of the video when I, the mother, had to quarrel with Destiny, the father. I could not stop laughing and I am very grateful that my group members were very patient with me. Also, we had many laughs together while watching the the different scenes we took. After the filming we did, we are now more closer than ever! 
I learnt that teamwork is very important in this group work so as to finish quickly. Although there is still room for improvement, I am very pleased with our work as everyone has put in their best and no matter what the result is, I will be very proud to have such awesome group members. I hope there are more opportunities to work with my chubby bunnies again!

Nur Kamiliah ( 16 )

When i first heard of this project, i felt delighted at the sound of it. Having to create and film a short clip within the given time would be hard as we have to come up with the plot of our film. It was hard deciding on what scenarios we wanted to use but we finally did. In this project, we were given an advantage in working with the people we were comfortable with. We communicated well and worked as a group during the whole process of completing this project. Even though we faced obstacles and problems, we overcame them without hesitations. In the mid of completing the video, it was hard for the actresses to stop laughing in front of the camera. Knowing that we had limited time to work with, we put our fun apart and became serious till we had completed the video. I was satisfied with the end product as i knew that we had worked hard in making it possible. Even though there was room for improvement, it still turned out better than i expected. I really enjoyed working with the chubby bunnies! After this project, i got to strengthen my bond with my friends. I hope there would be more of this kind of exposure!

                                         

Destiny's Reflection

 Hello! I'm Destiny from the 5 chubby bunnies!

What have I learnt?
 I had a lot of fun putting up this video with my group members. At first, it was really tough as we had to come up with possible scenarios in our stories. In the end, we managed to pick one out of the five and started work on it. I was one of the actors and it was my first time acting. I had a really great time acting! I now knew that acting is not an easy feat as we had to put ourselves in the shoes of the characters we are portraying. There are also other details that we had to take note of, like the angle we are facing the camera, the sound effects etc. It was also quite arduous to have to remember all the lines we are supposed to read out. Overall, it was a very memorable experience and I am sure what I had learnt from this project would put me to great use in the future.

I also learnt that teamwork is very important in the making of this video. All of us had roles to play and all of us contributed to the video. I felt that we work really well as a team and cooperated well. It was a pleasure working with my group members and we had a lot of laughs working together.

Why do you think the resolution is plausible?
It is plausible because there is a reasonable conclusion to the story. The nice girl, who had suffered from emotional abuse that her parents and mean girls caused her,was finally able to change her mindset and carry on with her life.

Brainstorming Session

Scenario 1: Broken family (parents on the verge of divorce). Friendship problem (bullied)

Scenario 2: Main character has depression. Leads to self-mutilation.

Scenario 3: Boy-girl relationship problems

Scenario 4: Parents who are gambling addicts and it caused disputes between main character and parents.

Scenario 5: An introvert (main character) and the extroverts (the rest of the group)

We chose scenario 1 because all of us would have roles to play and this scenario would be relatable to some teens who are facing this problem.

*slow shots of the parents fighting*

-Destiny comes home drunk-

Reina: Where have you been?
Destiny: None of your business.
Reina: Did you go gambling again?
Destiny: Why do you care?
Reina: *shakes father violently* Stop gambling! Be more responsible!
Destiny: *slaps mother*
Reina: *cries* *storms into room to pack his things* *comes out and throw the luggage on the floor* Get out of the house! I don't want to see you ever again.
Destiny: Fine! And never come back! *slams door*
Kamiliah: Ma... what happened? Did you fight with Pa again? Where is he? *sad face*
Reina: Stop it, you're annoying. *pushes child into the room and lock the door*
Kamiliah: *starts banging the door* Ma why are you doing this? Ma where's Pa? I miss him! Ma! -no reply-
*gives up and slides down the door* Why ma? Why? *starts crying*

-Awhile later-
Reina: Ah girl! Go to sleep! You have school tmr!
Kamiliah: *goes to bed*

-The next day at school-
Kamiliah: *goes into classroom and everyone stares* *goes to her seat*
Valerie and GuatShin: *starts bad-mouthing about the child*
Kamiliah: *runs out of the classroom*
Nice girl (Destiny): *walks to her and starts comforting her* It's going to be okay. I assure you that if you don't care about what they say about you, they would eventually stop.
Kamiliah: *smiles* Thank you. To be honest, you are the only one who cares.
Mean girl 3 (Reina): *walks towards them and drags nice girl away*
Kamiliah: *runs away in fear*

-Kamiliah walks home with sadness consuming her heart-
The atmosphere is solemn. The lights are dim. A single spotlight shines on the child.
Kamiliah: *starts humming songs filled with grief*
Other group members: *act as dark clouds*
Sorrow overwhelms child's heart. She has suicidal thoughts.
-Kamiliah takes small, timid steps to the rooftop-
Kamiliah: I'm sorry. I can't do it anymore. This is to end my pain and suffering. *walks to the window*
As she was about to jump, her phone rings. It was from the nice girl (Destiny).
Nice girl (Destiny): Hello. I'm sorry for today. Cheer up and don't do anything stupid alright? Stay strong. Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not, it's not the end yet. When you realized that you have reach the end of the rope, tie a knot on it and hang on. You can do this!
Kamiliah: Alright... Thanks. *hangs up*
Kamiliah is very guilty. Tears unconsciously rolled down her cheeks. She thought about what Nice girl had said and realized that she was foolish. She broke into a smile.
Since then, nice girl (Destiny) and Kamiliah became the best of friends.

-In school-
*Kamiliah and nice girl (Destiny) walks happily but their expression changes when the mean girls (Valerie, GuatShin, Reina) stood in front of them*
*Nice girl (destiny) and Kamiliah ignores them and walks past them with smiles all over their faces*
Mean girls (Reina, GuatShin, Valerie): Huh!
